How do you access your i Tunes account library on a different computer?
Q. My family computer finally kicked the bucket, all of our i Tunes music was on one library on that computer. Now I'm using a different computer. However now that I've accessed my account I can't find my library. Does anyone know why I can't find it and how to access it? And is it possible to take music from one i Pod and copy it to another?

A. Absolutely no reason to hesitate. You will be able to move your songs to your new Macbook easily. You can even get a "Genius" at an Apple Store to do the transfer for you for FREE if you ask. Otherwise, all you will have to do is back up your data (songs) on your Inspirion to an external drive (which you should be doing ANYWAY to protect your precious songs, right!?!?) and then do the following: Connect both your old Inspirion and your new Macbook to the same router at the same time and turn both machines on. Once both machines have booted, make sure that you have the latest version of i Tunes installed on both your Windows machine and your Macbook. You do that by selecting "i Tunes | Check for updates" on your Macbook… [cont.]

How do you add more ipods on an itunes account?
Q. Ok so i have an iphone 4 and my computer doesn't have a disk drive, its a netbook. I have a new CD and i want to download onto my itunes account. My dads computer has a disk drive but he already has an itunes account. How can I download and sing my CD songs onto his computer without deleting his or mine songs?
Asked by Amanda - Fri Feb 4 14:58:22 2011 - Music & Music Players - 2 Answers - Comments

A. Hi, The best way to do it with out losing anything is to download the CD to your dads computer then transfer the songs either via email to yourself or put them on a memory stick. I do this when I put a new CD onto my work computer then just put the songs on my memory stick then put then on my home computer

Apple deleted my i Tunes account. How do I get it up an running again so I can update everything?
Q. Whenever I try to update my apps on my i Phone, it says this: "This i Tunes account has been disabled for security reasons." But yet it remains on my i Phone. I try using my brother's account, but it still has my info on it. If there is no solution to get it running again, how do I delete the info from my i Phone?
Asked by Brian - Wed Jun 23 08:48:29 2010 - Software - 1 Answers - Comments

A. How you would delete the info is by going on to i Tunes on your PC or i Mac, and going to the store, logging out and then logging in on your brothers account, or making a new one of your own, this will then automatically send the new info to your i Phone and you will no longer be stuck with you old disabled account details.

How do i transfer my Itunes account and songs to another computer?
Q. I want to transfer my songs from my Itunes account to another computer and i cant access my other computer so i cant do itunes back-up. can i or cant i?
Asked by MalinaAsh - Sun Dec 14 13:26:39 2008 - Software - 3 Answers - Comments

A. In order to transfer songs you have to have access to the actual files some how. i Tunes will only allow you to download songs that you have purchased once, and they don't back up anything that you have loaded into i Tunes from other sources. You say that you don't have access to your other computer so you can't do an i Tunes backup. The only way to retrieve the songs is if you have them stored somewhere else as well, such as on an i Pod. If you do have them on an i Pod, there are tons of questions and responses on this site detailing how to go about transferring the music off of your i Pod and onto a computer. If you don't have them saved anywhere else your only option to retrieving them to gain access to that other computer again.

i Tunes account?
Q. Do you get charged for creating an i Tunes account if you don't buy anything? I just want to have the album art for the songs, but It says I need to create an account in order to get that.
Asked by *G - Fri Dec 29 23:19:20 2006 - Software - 2 Answers - Comments

A. There are easier ways to get album artwork. I don't i Tunes because it always seems to obtain the wrong artwork. Anyway, select all of the songs from an album, right click on the selection, and choose Edit Info. Find the corresponding album art online (Amazon, Wikipedia, etc.). Right click on the image, and choose Copy. Go back to i Tunes; right click in the album art field and choose Paste.

How do I move my i Tunes account to a new computer when the old computer was destroyed?
Q. We have an i Tunes account that my wife primarily uses. Her laptop was destroyed recently. There is no hope of recovering anything from it. How, if at all, do I set up her i Tunes account on her new laptop, and what, if anything, will we be able to recover through the account? Will it be only what is on her i Pod at the moment, or will she have access to anything else? Thank you.

How do i make another itunes account on one computer?
Q. My big sister has an ipod classic, and she already has an itunes account. My question is, can i make another account on one pc. If i can will someone please tell me step by step how to make another account so when i sync my new ipod touch it won't download all of her songs and stuff.
Asked by GATORAID - Sun Apr 19 11:58:56 2009 - Software - 1 Answers - Comments

A. If your computer has separate user accounts for each user (i.e. each user has their own desktop etc, I know for sure Windows XP and Vista have the capability to be set up this way), you shouldn't have any issues. On computers set up this way i Tunes treats each user account like a separate computer and thus creates separate libraries for each user. So if your sister had her i Tunes library set up on her user account, and you opened up i Tunes on yours you would have a blank library. User accounts can be set up in Windows under "User Accounts" on the control panel.
